The Asiatic Parrot Breeders Handbook
This latest offering from Phil Robson is similar to his popular book on Indian Ringnecks but looks at the other Asiatic species, including Alexandrines, Plumheads, Slatyheads, and Blossom Headed Parrots as well as Moustache Parrots, Derbyans, Malabars and Malayan Longtails. There is even a small section on Indian Ringnecks. Management, Feeding ,Health Issues, etc , are all covered in separate chapters, but are general for all species.

Australian Lorikeets - Experiences in the Field and Aviary
Stan Sindel and James Gill's original book on Lorikeets was written over 20 years ago now back in 1986 and since that time so much has changed as regards Lorikeet management, care and feeding. So it was time for a revision of the book. African Birds in Field & Aviary
This A4 size soft covered book from South Africa contains a wealth of knowledege on different African species, with particular research on feeding and breeding in the wild. It is especially good for finch breeders with most African Finch, Weaver & Whydah species covered. Although there is little colour in the book, there are some excellent illustrations included in the 262 pages that cover things like nesting receptacles, feeders, aviaries, suitable plants, etc, with a series of distribution maps for all species. A definite worthwhile addition to our reference library.
